Hold my hands. Let's be friends
I promise not to hurt you. I promise not to tease. Will you do the same for me If I ask you, "Please?"
Hold my hands. Let's be friends.
Tell me you won't hurt me. Tell me you won't tease. Can you do the same for me? I will ask you, "Please."
So hold my hands. Let's be friends, and honor this promise that will never end.
These pledges are designed to be recited as students form a circle by holding hands. By voicing these words of kindness and tolerance each day, students bond for a few moments. It is our hope and goal that this bond forms for life.
Ask your school if the entire student body can become involved by reciting these Pledges at the start of each school day.
